CPIM Part 2 study method recommendations?
Beginning to work on part 2 of the content for CPIM part 2. The two books comprise 998 pages of dense content.
Anyone who passed Part 2 have any study structure tips/methods they'd like to share with me?
I've looked up a multiple ways people recommend tackling studying, but I've found the way the CPIM books have been written doesn't correlate to something similar to a college textbook. A paragraph might just be one or two run-on sentences, or points are broken up irregularly.
I'm not complaining about it, anyone taking or that has taken it since converting to two tests is in the same boat. I'm just curious if anyone can recommend an effective method to tackle such a massive volume.
I have the book, and the online learning system CPIM offers. For part 1, I just read the book, drilled the quizzes in the online learning system, the practice tests and pocket prep app. From what others have stated, those techniques won't really fly on Part 2, which I am seeing for Topic 1 (44 pages), I scored a 65% on the quiz the first time through. Revisited the questions I missed and scored 90% the next time through.

I treat the CPIM books like I’m reviewing somebody’s detailed summary notes about the body of knowledge. If there is something I want to understand better, or if their summary is different from my understanding, I’ll find text books that focus of that aspect.
Thanks. I've just been reading the content. Do the quiz, then re-visit the topic/chapter and write notes in my own words and including those key phrases they love to emphasize.
