How are they gunna do the 32nd ahl team? Kraken ahl team doesn’t start until 2022-2023. How did they do it with Vegas? I know they’re sharing an ahl team with someone this year. Franchise mode would seem wonky

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure the first franchise mode year with newly Vegas had the “shared” minor league team as their minor league team for franchise mode. If I remember correctly it was the Chicago Wolves at the time
I’m not sure who the shared minor league team will be for Seattle, but that will probably be their designated minor league team for franchise mode
Vegas stole the Blues AHL team and they had to share so EA made a fake AHL team for the Blues to use.
if i recall they gameplay wise gave you a 31st ahl team in 18,19,and 20 it would be called the burnaby aces unless you customized it

That would involve coding, and thus actual effort on their part. They'll just give you the option to create a 32nd AHL team, otherwise you'll just get the default Burnaby Aces.

WRONG! Up until a few years ago, multiple NHL teams shared AHL teams and it was always in the game that way.
Right but the games keep getting lazier and worse so…I wouldn’t doubt if this is how it plays out
