Cohen does no favors for himself on twitter but you’d think Rocker was the next best player the way Michael and Peter talk about him. He refused an MRI, Mets took a chance, didn’t like what they saw in medicals once they got him and they didn’t want the risk. Just because he’s a black player doesn’t mean the Mets need to sign him for fan culture. I actually think his medicals must have been really really bad for them not even to offer him a deal. Let’s see how he turns out 5 years down the line and who they draft next year before they say it’s a disgrace they let him go.
Kid should have let teams give him an MRI, what is he hiding that he refused it? If it was just Tommy John surgery like Michael insinuated than I doubt the Mets would let him walk, it must be much worse. Between Harvey, deGrom and Syndagard the Mets know a bit about hurt pitchers and what a certain injury can mean for a career.

Every time they (mostly Peter) brought up the fact that he’s black made me physically cringe. Just because he’s black does not mean the Mets have any obligation to pay him millions of dollars when his elbow is burnt toast

Yeah I kinda cringed after Michael brought up he was black and Peter, who was almost silent the whole segment, jumped up and finally joins the debate. Then when he was talking about how he researched the kids family tree and found out he was Indian was strange. Baseball is probably the most diverse sport and the best players are a majority black so I don’t know why they acted like a black player not playing for the Mets was such a bad look.

Once again I'm uncomfortable by the conversation about Michael Kay talking about Peter GF. Someone please make him stop! He's a married man that's constantly hitting on his coworker significant other. One off color joke is cool, but please make him stop

Hopefully soon, I can’t believe YES finds it acceptable they have all these technical difficulties that are mainly due to them doing the show from home. I can’t think of one big show that still is doing their broadcast from home. At this point it has to be just the guys don’t want to drive in

I really feel like this is why they’re falling behind to C*rton & Roberts. Not having that chemistry live in studio is really hurting the quality of the show.
