Thanks Cody for being yourself, it makes it a lot easier for us to relate with you.
You're doing what a lot of us see ourselves do if we would have the guts to explore our dreams.

Damn I remember watching him when he had less than a thousand, guy's really made it.

Yeah I was just thinking about that, I remember watching the original year of beekeeping series and wondering why he didn't have more subs. Well deserved!

Cody is the only YouTuber who I have watched consistently for almost a decade. Definitely well deserved...virtual beer on me 🍺.

I was definitely subscribed to him before the gunpowder-from-urine videos, but don't recall when that was or how many subscribers he had.
...and wondering why he didn't have more subs
Here is my post from 4 month ago asking for Technical video channels you subscribe to, but get less than 1k watches per video My input is over there but I didn't get much feedback.
r\Skookum is turning into 95% memes and pictures of tools with the brand name "skooikum" on them :-(

I had to unsubscribe from that sub. It was such a hurr-durr big tool circlejerk that I just couldn't take it anymore. Datums didn't care, as it brought traffic to his sub, even though the rules were very clear and broken on 90% of posts. I wish there was a sub for what skookum was supposed to be.

I'm pretty sure I'm already personally beyond the point of taking on new moderating tasks, but what would such a sub be called? Because we're 100% on the same page.
Hopefully something more imaginative than r/Skookum2

Wow! Cody can reach two-thousand-thousand people!

That's awesome. He's quite unique as YouTuber. I feel like he got an authenticity which is lacking in most big channels these days.

This. He's what youtube was originally built for rather than what it has become, slaves to adsense and the algorithm to get anywhere with videos.
