I miss my ex, and things can be better this time around
So, me(19m) and my ex(17f) had been dating for a year and six months, and we broke up this past June 1st. When we started talking in 2019, everything was great, we were making each other happy, I was being sweet, she was being loving, everything was great. Honestly, I wasn’t really ready for a relationship at the time, bcuz I had never been in one, and I didn’t even have a car or anything like that, but she was ready for a relationship with me. I knew I wouldn’t be the best if we started dating, but the love we had for each other was so powerful, that we only wanted each other. So eventually, I asked her out, but I told her I was joking (I wasn’t joking, I wanted us to be together. I was dead serious and wanted to be with her) but she didn’t take the joke well and started crying. I felt so bad, and I told her it was a joke, and I didn’t mean for her to cry, and that I loved her. Eventually she stopped crying and understood. So far, things were pretty good, (note, we never hung out or saw each other in person for a while) she wanted to start hanging out, but I just wasn’t ready for that yet, it was all new and happening so fast. So she got upset Everytime I told her I didn’t want to hang out with her, basically crying. I felt so bad. Eventually, I planned for us to hang out at her house as a date, and that night was the best night of our lives. So, we started hanging out more often, but like any relationship, we had our ups and downs from time to time. We had a pretty good relationship tho. Fast forward, and we agreed to break up to work and better ourselves, since we both were unhappy from personal stuff. We broke up, but stayed close, even hung out together afterwards and had extremely great moments, until one day, she told me she wanted to just stay friends and not go out anymore. Idk why, but she said she didn’t want to be hurt again, even tho I was steady improving and being a better boyfriend. Two weeks ago, she BlocCed me and I really mis her :(
