What I meant about comparing to my earbuds is that it has the same sound level, when I'm playing siege for example the in game sound is not loud.

I have tried it without dolby and it sounds low, with dolby on is louder.

Do you have another device with a minijack? Like an (old) phone? Try to see if that works better. Also try without dolby audio. First step is to determine what the problem is exactly.

I have that headset and if I max it I feel like I will blowout my eardrums. I have it plugged directly into the audio port on my motherboard, no amp. The most common mistake people have with this headset is they are not pushing the plug into the headset far enough.

I am having silmilar issues with a set of 38x's where the volume is not above avg on pc, better on phone or other peoples laptops, game systems, etc..

I'm mostly having mic issues, the pc barely registers anything from the mic and I have to use a digital preamp called voicemeeter to get anything out of it.

If these are being underpowered that much them most things will.

You said you had the same issue with iems, which are very easy to drive. So a new headset won't fix the issue if it's your laptop at fault

Sounds like your not powering it well.

But I can't say as you didn't list how you have it hooked up and exactly to what.

So I can only assume bad on board audio is your problem.

I haved tried that and is the same thing.

Delete your audio drivers, then restart windows and check if it has been fixed.
