Can't find a game? Game crashing or freezing? Can't connect to server?

Lots of technical issues flying around for various platforms. Posts regarding technical issues accessing the game should be posted here.

1. This thread covers issues with getting into the game and being able to play.

2. This thread does not cover gameplay glitches/bugs.

Bugs can be reported to the devs here where there is also a list of open issues.

3. If you have an issue, please search this thread for the issue. If you receive a solution to your issue, edit your first post with RESOLVED so we know it has been fixed.

4. Please post solutions you've found below as parent comments if you can.

5. If a solution helps you, upvote it. This way we can push the best threads and solutions to the top.

Note that people here aren't B4B developers, and basically anyone offering help is volunteering. Be nice to each other.

Potential Fix: Thread

• Potential Fixes:

  • Hard reset (hold xbox button down for 10 seconds) then was able to download from the store

  • Use Xbox phone app to download game

  • If you pre-ordered - use a code from somewhere else (oddly)

[PC] Disconnected From Server

Example

Issue seems to be with an anti-cheat system

1. Needs to be granted access when you install it.

2. Be in a particular directory/primary boot drive

Potential fixes:

• Disable cross-play

• Reinstall game on your primary boot drive

• If prompted for permission for the anti-cheat system, permit it

Fix anti cheat crashing

1. Open File Explorer (use your OS's search bar if you have to) and navigate to your main drive (C or D) in your PC.
2. In your main drive, use the search bar to find easyanticheat.exe and run it
3. Selected a game I already had (B4B isn't on there yet, so I used Dead by Daylight) and select "repair"
