Ps4 desperately needs an update

Idk if this has been said already but the last time my app updated was last year as like a bug fix. It runs like crap and it is still in the old style of crunchyroll as opposed to the phone app, tv, and web beta versions. Am i the only one or is everyone with a ps4 thinking the same?
