Should I buy MH:Rise, XenoBlade Chronicles Remastered, XB:C 2, Octopath Traveler

I am looking to buy a game for Switch that I bought 2 years ago to play Pokemon Sword and stopped playing it. I will be mostly playing this game while relaxing on the back porch enjoying the sun and pool with my 3 year old. A game that pauses easily is required. Really hoping to find an RPG. My favorite game of all time is FFTactics. Every game that gets recommended as similar to it though I have not been a huge fan of. These include Fire Emblems, Disgea, WarGrove, and others. Games like it I do enjoy would be XCom and XCom 2. I also like Minecraft and games like it (Satisfactory, Starbound, No Man's Sky). I also currently enjoy Eve Online.

I haven't played a solid RPG in a while since FF7 remake so I thought it might be time to get back into one and the titles in the subject came to mind. But I'm really wide open here. I have played Monster Hunter World as my first entry in the series and really liked it. I also enjoy Simulators, including sports sims. So Golf Story, Mario Golf or anything like that might be interesting. I absolutely loved Super Mario Allstars for the GameCube (exact title might be off) but I have not found anything that compares to that level yet. Let me know what you think I should buy, especially if anything is on sale (which I know Nintendo basically never does, sadge).

Also trying to avoid puzzle platformers Like Mario and even Zelda even though I know BotW and even Odyssey are open world. I could be persuaded on Mario Rabbids though. Hopefully that's enough about me to help you all help me!
