[Daily Hero tl;dr #38] Leshrac
Leshrac, the TOrmented Soul. One of my favorite heroes - great caster, pusher, ganker, and laner all in one. Just a bit fragile.
TL;DR
- Skills (pro push) - Split Earth (1,4,6,8) Edict (2,3,5,7) Lightning (never) Pulse Nova (10,11,16) Stats (everywhere else)
- Skills (stronk lane) - Split Earth (1,4,6,8) Edict (9,10,11,12) Lightning (2,3,5,7) Pulse Nova (14,15,16)
- Skills (super pro stronk lane) - Split Earth (1) Edict (4,6,8,9) Lightning (2,3,5,7) Pulse Nova (10,11,16)
- Items (lane) - branches, mantles, regen
- Items (early) - Mana Boots, couple Nulls, Force Staff/Blink
- Items (later) - BKB, Sheepstick, Aghs
- Tips - Edict destroys towers and lone heroes, harass in lane, land good stuns!
- Counters - disables, DPS, heroes with summons
I really like playing this hero, he's so much fun against unsuspecting opponents that think they can 1v1 you. Click Edict and watch them squirm - it does 1600 mixed damage at level 4. Mixed damage is part physical and that means not blocked by magic immunity! Awwweeee yeah BKB's not a great counter. And you can kill Naix if he's silly.
Now for the skill builds - I highly recommend the first. I'm not even sure why I put the others, but I expect "you should totally get lightning it's so strong" whatever. If you're super pro, and I mean super pro, you may be able to get away with one level of stun. You better hit those stuns though. Lightning is useful if you really want to shut down a lane. Each bounce has a really nice large search radius and the damage doesn't get reduced each bounce, so it's very nice for harassing.
Your goal, the entire game, is to run up to hero/tower/anything, make sure there are no creeps around, and press Edict. And then watch them die. Towers die SO FAST if they have Edict on them. You can easily take down a tier 1 (and most of a tier 2) tower with level 4 Edict. Take advantage of this - push lanes down constantly!
During team fights, press Edict, press your ult, and run around and stuff. Stun accordingly. Your ultimate eats up a lot of mana, so you shouldn't really get it unless you have a sustainable pool. It does some decent damage at high levels, though.
The item build is pretty self explanatory. You need mana and you need positioning, so you should get that first. Then you need to not die, so BKB. Then you can choose the intelligence item of your choice. Sheepstick is best, but Orchids would do, maybe even Bloodstone. Aghs is nice once you have a good mana pool to buff up your ult. Keep in mind that at level 3, you're wasting 60 mana per second, so make sure you have enough.
