I realized tonight that I don’t want any of it

The wife and I have separated. She barely took anything and doesn’t seem to care about any of the things we accumulated together for almost thirteen years. The situation has really left me in a tough spot, and I will likely have to relocate, which I hate because I’d be thousands of miles from my son or any chance of fixing things. Tonight, I started going through the garage to kinda gather a mental inventory and find anything that may be important to me. And I realized that none of it is important to me. Every single item can be replaced. I don’t really need any of it. What I need and needed is already gone. What I have is my son. The rest is just junk. All of it.
