My biggest change to approach to minis gaming the past couple years was a nearly complete switch to rules sets that are minis agnostic. Gamma Wolves, Rangers of Shadow Deep/Stargrave/Frostgrave, Kings of War and like añy of the dozens of other games that let me play with whatever models I like. I feel like I get way more into designing my forces and the game itself with a game that lets me fully choose my dudes
