zEdit Javascript error

Apologies if this is an error that commonly gets brought up but I've yet to find any post about it. I've recently been getting an error when opening zEdit and trying to use zMerge. As far as I can tell it seems like zEdit is trying to create a log file whenever it does anything including opening but it can't now. It's preventing me from building any merges at all, new or old, giving me a similar error as to the one in the screenshot. I've tried running as admin, I've tried moving everything to different folders and drives, I've updated 0.6.6, but nothing seems to work. The last time I merged mods was 8/8 so it was literally only 4 weeks ago that everything was working fine. The only thing of significance I can think of is maybe a recent windows update but even then you would think the latest version of zEdit would work.
