Anyone know where I can get a drive reader for this type of drive?
Samsung PM981 MZ-VLB5120 MZVLB512HALQ-000L7 M.2 Solid State Drive SSD
We have bought NVME drive readers for type M2 drives and they still dont fit. It is a PCIe drive.

so something like this doesn't work? does it show up in bios or device manager or disk management?
I have bought similar ones and they look like they fit but their is a slight difference that makes them not fit for some reason and I just want to be sure.
hmm. well the drive either fits or it doesn't. just make sure it supports nvme/pcie. Some are for older m.2 ssd and they won't read samsung.
Will this one read it?

i think that's the link i sent in my 1st reply. it should work. but cheap chinese adapters aren't 100% reliable. i would try it.
