Looking for gameplay to review.

General question

Hey, I’ve done a few pickleball analysis videos and want to do more. If you have some footage of yourself playing and are ok with me reviewing it for a video, please let me know :)

I just started a channel with pickleball gameplay. Do you have examples of some analysis you have done? https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6nJZgv2SHJ0wdxJekn5W6A

Let me know if you’re cool with me using some of the gameplay. I’ll credit you obviously.

cool, subscribed - good content. feel free to go ahead with using the gameplay and let me know once you publish something and I can direct my viewers to that video as well.

I was actually going to do some analysis based on my gameplay once I gather sufficient footage and I can't play as frequently in the winter months.

In my video descriptions, I put some background of some of the players if that helps give you context.

Beautiful, recorded some games today with a pro and a heisman winner so gonna have a few videos of that coming out along with a new serve video but then I’ll get some community analysis out. Thanks Jack, appreciate you 🙏

Love the scoreboard btw! I made my own version some time ago. I know it takes a while to update the scoreboard each time and cut each point so great job!

You might consider tweaking the rotation angle of the video in post next time, you can use the net or the fence in the background to make sure it’s perfectly straight.

Thanks, I'm still experimenting with both my pickleball game and youtube game. The first video I did took 6 hours to edit with a scoreboard and I abandoned doing a scoreboard until recently. I came up with a new approach that takes about 1 hour to get 4 minutes of edited content with a scoreboard but I'm still looking to improve on that front as well.

The camera set up I have now is a little suspect, I have a GoPro clipped to a fence with an adjustable neck so it's tough to get a good initial angle that can be edited well after. Sometimes a ball hitting the fence can alter the angle as well. In the future I may look into something more robust to mount at the top of the fence.

I think in the future, I may consider having 2 cameras set up so I can toggle between the angles so we will see.

Plenty on the way but I prefer quality over quantity so it takes some time 👍

Sure, go to www.youtube.com/c/ThePickleballPirates , choose whatever game you like, review it, send it to us, we'll publish it along with the video. If you want to do voice over, let us know which players from the channel you'd like to review, we'll find something unpublished yet, you'll download it, do voice over and send it back.

Hey- just saw your post about the hand spin serve will have to try it out. Would love to get some analysis. This video is a few months old but it’s the only one on YouTube I’ve got. Some on a few Facebook groups more recent but don’t think I can link it. I’m the lefty.

I didn’t record it. One of my opponents friends did. He has his own Facebook channel, did an excellent job. Here’s a link to his channel: https://youtube.com/c/justinmcclung
