Will playing a different shmup or bullet hell teach me to dodge better for patience phase?

I have been absolutely shitted on every single patience. And I’ve died so many times. At this point I think my bullet hell skills are terrible and dying over and over again won’t do anything cuz 99% of the dungeon isn’t patience. The strategy I’ve tried to come up with is to either facetank the vertical shots and dodge all the horizontal shots (except the big ones the wraiths shoot) and diagonal shots, but that strategy didn’t even seem to work. There isn’t a patience practicer that I know of so idk what to do.
