Problem with new pc build
Hi I recently built a custom pc with the specs listed below;
-Palit gamerock rtx 3070ti oc -Ryzen 5 5600x -Msi mag b550 gaming edge wifi mb -trident z silver royal 2 x 8 gb ram -samsung 970 evo plus ssd -seagate 2tb 7200rpm hdd -corsair white 750w 80 plus bronze -corsair h150i elite white aio cooler -thermaltake core p3 snow case
I built this pc with no problems whatsoever everything was wired correctly and the pc booted on first time with no problem, i went through all the installation process with the bios and windows and the pc loaded up the to windows page. Everything was fine so far all the fans were spinning on the gpu and the aio and i then went to start installing the nvidia drivers for the gpu, this is where the problems began after installing the drivers the fans stopped spinning on the gpu after booting up and whilst the pc would be on and whenever i tried to open chrome or edge browser the pc would crash. I then tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them but that didnt change anything so i decided to uninstall the drivers and install everything else that i wanted to be on the pc, this process when over night. The next morning i tried to reinstall the drivers again and this time the browsers would crash but the gpu fans still were not spinning and would only spin when i restart the pc and during the multiple times i tried to reinstall the drivers my monitor would sometimes go black and not turn back on forcing me to restart the pc. Note* when the drivers were removed the gpu fans would spin again whilst the pc booted up and remained on. What is weird is that sometimes the fans would keep spinning after the boot of the pc and sometimes they wouldnt and when i tried to use msi afterburner or palits software thundermaster to see the fan speeds i could only change them if fans so happened to have been spinning on that boot and remained on but if they were off it would give me the option. Note* the rgb lights on the gou would always be on and work, i have had no issues with them. Now some may say it is the gpus software that the fans dont ramp up until they hit a certain temp but i have left the gpu to go to 65+ degrees at times and the fans still dont turn on ive tried running a game (rainbow six siege) when the fans are working but i would only get around 8 fps so very low also the pc would be very laggy first few times i installed the drivers. I cant tell if its the software or the gpu at fault because everything else works fine. I really have tried everything i can think of which includes installing older drivers, checking the wiring of the whole pc, unplugging the wires from the power supply, checking the bios and other software for anything, reinstalling windows, restarting the pc countless times, putting it under load. I just cant think of what the problem could be and bare in mind all the pc components are brand new and the pc does register the gpu when i check the system details/specs. Any ideas or help would be much appreciated. Thanks
