Another conversation we need to have ahead of time - GREED. Too early you say? Read on.
First of all, let me preface by saying that this is going to happen. We will moon. It's an inevitability.
That being said, we need to talk a little bit about human nature and how we can be better. There are going to be apes worth a few million bucks, apes worth tens of millions, and who knows how many newly minted billionaires.
Many of us may be tempted to turn that few million into billions. Or billions into... who knows? I don't think that's inherently a problem. Just don't do it at other peoples expense. There will be opportunities for apes to collaberate with apes in business ventures, nonprofit groups, research and development, agriculture, and Jesus does the list go on.
Being excellent to each other means being excellent to everyone. That means we have a duty to be a positive influence in the world if we choose to step out into it. This is what we fought for.
Why do I bring this up now? Because before everything gets drowned out in the chaos of the MOASS, we do actually have some work to do. Not necessarily "hard" work, but we need to all decide, on an individual basis, what we are going to stand for, and what we are going to do to make this life-changing in our own way.
We all have passions and ideas, and it would be far too easy to ask ourselves "why not? I waited so long for this. Why shouldn't I get a little more. I deserve it". Or even worse, to say "I got mine. Everyone else can kick rocks". I can't imagine the late nights, the early mornings, the overtime to buy more shares, the yardsales, the homelessness, all being just to turn your back on others at the end.
I could have just commented in the daily "BE EXCELLENT!", but this is very important to me.
