He has been the live bassist for German Folk/Schlager/Rock band Dorfrocker since 4 years. He says that while it is not the kind of music he listens to privately, it is fun to play live. Apparently they get around a lot. They have even been touring the US where they have been playing a lot of Oktoberfests. I had no idea about that.

He isn't saying much about the Edguy situation other than it can be frustrating at times. He is much more direct about it in this German interview: https://www.fuldaerzeitung.de/fulda/edguy-fulda-gitarrist-jens-ludwig-dorfrocker-corona-brasilien-konzert-lockdown-metal-musik-90920559.html

Avantasia has pretty much broken into mainstream so impacting Edguy isn't surprising.

Tobi has basically said in the past that Edguy was done, all his time/effort/creativity is going to Avantasia.

It's kind of sad honestly. Avantasia used to feel like something special. I feel like every album they've released has been worse than the previous album, to the point where I didn't even bother listening to the last two albums. They could really use longer breaks between albums.

I remember them saying they were gonna do Theatre of Salvation 20th anniversary shows back in 2019 but they never got round to it, doubt we'll ever see it
