[M4F] A (Group) Summer Vacation At The Campgrounds

The campgrounds sat on the end of a long, sandy road. To get there, one drove for minutes through the thick forest. Pine trees after pine trees, the smell of damp soil streaming through the open windows. It was cooler here than around the forest. Green, fresh, healthy. Some older couple had built the campgrounds way back when, when the country was much more into camping and less into flying to Caribbean islands. It had been preserved well, not one of those shabby operations for school trips. No, it had a welcoming, familiar feeling to it. The feeling of better times long past.

A large reception hut was the first thing that announced the end of the long road. Made from old trees a long time ago, a wooden sign hanging on the outer wall. Lake Merrybottom Campgrounds, it announced. Past the reception there lay a vacation area like they do not build them anymore. Not a campground for tents, but a well-kept ensemble of wooden huts, each big enough to hold a family. But small enough to be cozy and give the visitors a down-to-earth feeling. Here and there a fire- or barbecue-place was placed underneath the large trees. A volleyball field and some outdoor games spoke of physical activities.

The lake itself was a little ways behind the habitable area. A soft blue, one could see it would be crisp and fresh. The beach was sandy and slim, plenty of bushes around. Across the calm water, the mountains rose. The air was usually clear. Clouds seldom found their way here. Burned pieces of wood and remnants of cans spoke of bonfires by the lake.

All in all, it looked like a very dull place to young people. However, the vacation at Lake Merrybottom turned out to be a lot less dull than we expected. We learned that the campgrounds, indeed, were a lot less quiet then we thought upon arrival.

But here is the question: Who are we? A family? A group of friends? A college trip? Hit me with an idea!

Thanks for reading this far - if anyone ever did. It might be hard to tell, but this post is about something we are all missing out on in this shitty year of 2020: A nice camping trip. It is supposed to be light-hearted and deliberately open. Open in two ways: Please feel free to do to it what you want and suggest who might go there, what they might find and what you want changed. But also, I really like an open world where different characters meet. Yes, there will be smut in this story. A lot of it, if we hit it off. But why build only two characters if you can turn a corner and make up a new one? Find a new friend at the lake? Meet the Jeffersons in Hut 9? The girl working at the reception? There are so many fun people to be discovered in this fun place! To be clear, we would be free to bring new characters in which we control.

As for who we are and what we do: I am open.
