I did the math. I managed to save a certain amount this year. At this rate it will take me 68 years to be a millionaire. And that was with stimulus money. Most years would be less. Add in any falling stock investments, or bank shutdowns, and there would be even less.
Well one does not do the same job forever.
You make the bulk of your wealth after 40, as you move up in the world.
But it's all just pre arranged by the ultra rich to keep you a worker bee.
Bring on the fucking moass. I'm 40 now and I don't want to keep doing this for 25 years.

Yeah but the idea would be that from 47 to 55 you would continue to climb the ladder, making more and more money until you are 55-60, then spend the last 5-10 finalizing your retirement funds.
On top of that, if you bought a house, there's a good chance the market will continue to climb and that will be worth a significant portion of your million dollars.
Finally, since there's 100% going to be a moass before you're 65, you will be a millionaire from that as well!
All of the above are my plan. But just pointing out the reality of what saving would do. Compound interest might help, but not with such low interest rates.

I think there needs to be a dialog about Bezos reaching literal Hitler levels of global influence. Hitler tried taking over Europe with armies, Bezos is trying to take over the US economy with Hedge Funds. If he isn't stopped, at some point he will not be able to be contained.

Regardless of your personal feelings on it, everything that has been uncovered so far has been revealed through an incredible amount of work finding actual evidence to back up extraordinary claims. Don't be so quick to dismiss theories that seem outlandish. If in the beginning of the year someone has said Bezos is behind it all but there is no evidence, you would have dismissed that statement as well, and now look at where we are.
Are you somehow suggesting that Jeffrey Bezos does NOT have extraordinary amounts of power and influence to the point that if should be reined in before things get even worse?
