reboot mid-season finale thoughts

i've been enjoying the dynamic between max, aki and audrey so much & i'm so glad the three of them finally got down together. the hospital scenes between the three in particular made me realise i'd really love to see their relationship progress into a throuple, rather than this just be a one off threesome. i haven't seen a throuple in mainstream media at all really, would be interesting and progressive and not forced at all as it would be a storyline following an existing natural chemistry and dynamic - there really is such an intense chemistry between the three of them specifically, much more than between aki and audrey alone. it is also clear they really care about each other and the hospital scenes gave an insight into what this relationship would look like.

i was also really happy about julien and obie, i think they suit each other much more than zoya and obie do. as much as he'd hate to admit it, obie is much more like julien and part of her world than with zoya. julien understands his world and it was nice to see her grow and show an interest in him and what he cares about. it seems like what they had lost from earlier in their relationship has been found again and that last scene had a lot more chemistry than zoya and obie ever have had.

i couldn't believe the nerve of zoya yelling at julien asking her if she's still in love with obie? obie broke up with julien and started dating her half-sister 2 days later. as if she could act outraged that julien might still love him? i also really just can't get past obie and zoya not seeing a problem with the fact that they started dating straight after obie broke up with zoya's sister. and julien's just being so nice about it and meanwhile still copping it from zoya and obie both!
