Top 3 touchportal uses

Hi guys... I'm new in touchportal, I recently bought this app and I'm loving it! I'm a small streamer and my top 3 uses are:

1- Soundboard... I have sad songs for when I'm losing a game or applauses, laughs, crickets, etc.

2- OBS -> changing scenes (I have a small overlay for followers and subs at the botton, but some games have UI at the botton so I made a button to change it to the top (so I change the overlay depending of the game)

3- Turn the volume up and down

I want to know what are your main 3 uses because I know this is a powerful tool, but my lack of creativity doesn't allow me to use its full potential.

So guys... what do you use touchportal for? 😉

Automating things like chap showing up when someone says something so its not on screen all the time. Triggering effects and animations when people redeem channel point rewards. Controlling the multiple captures I use like browser windows, cameras, and positions of elements. And controlling my custom Pushup Situp counter widget made only using touch Portal.

OH! you have tut vids on the discord? Overhead cam for situps?

I just got into TP a couple weeks ago, watched about half of one of your vids and realized I was waaaay to green for it at that point

Gotta go back to see that now that I have a firmer grasp on what I'm doing!

I really dig the amount of automation you've developed (slowly moving that way as I'm understanding this app more)

Thanks for checking my content out! Im always around and down to chat about any idea's you may have, just hit me up on here or the TP discord (or even mine, i'm try to set up a stream design discord for streamers to have resources and help for things like Touch Portal and what not).

Honestly, learning some of the more intermediate functions like "write to file/append to file" is CRAZY powerful. Theres a bunch of 3rd party programs that offer that feature, which is when [x] action happens (lets say a button on your keyboard is pressed) it writes [text character] to a .txt file. Then in touch portal you have an action on an event that is "When example.txt changes..." [do whatever action]. I have Voice Attack (speech recognition software) listen for when I say, "Change to Intermission Scene", and it writes a random word to a "change to intermission.txt file", which is seen by the touch portal action mentioned and thus triggers, triggering the action which would be a "change to scene" action, so using my voice 1 software updates a text file, and another software hears it and triggers the scene change in the 3rd software. Crazy but so fun to set up! Theres endless possibilities you can do with things like this.

That's so badass! (The voice action setup)

Yeah, I'm at the base of this mountain and am loving the discovery of what it can do.

I'm highly anticipating the Multiple Device functionality when it finally comes. I've got a small pile of now-defunct delivery tablets from work. I'm wiping em and integrating em into my pc.

Would LOVE to have multiple tp screens

And I've been hella curious with using tp in conjunction with other things (like ittt or other automation systems) to see the possibilities

Aaaaand they are seemingly endless!

I'll def hit you up in the discord at some point just to shoot the shit or if any questions arise

Many thanks for the awesome work!
