Reminds me of the restaurants and bars that were shamelessly trying to plug their business by posting a pic of a bunch of beers sitting at an empty table to honor the fallen soldiers in Afghanistan on their social media.

This reminds me of "bomb energy" by Tim Dillon. It was something like he was the son of Osama Bin Laden and he emailed a marketing team to tell them he's starting an energy drink called bomb energy.
He demanded to know if they were interested. They replied shortly after to give them some time, and they were interested.
