I wouldn’t say this to anyone I know in real life because I wouldn’t want to hurt feelings, but I think the craft beer scene is lame.
Craft beer is expensive, filling, and often challenging (as far as taste goes). I feel like the point of beer is to enjoy something that is cold, cheap, and easy to drink. If I want something expensive and different I’ll get a craft cocktail.
Sorry to any brewers or enthusiastic.

I’m fine with craft beer. What I have a problem with is the craft beer crowd beer snobbery.
Budweiser is not the “piss water” that all the craft beer snobs call it. Bud and Bud light are 2 of the top 5 biggest selling beers on earth because that’s what most people want in a beer.
THANK YOU
100%. I love craft beer but I also love me some Coors or PBR. Snobby beer drinkers are lame af.
I hate Budweiser, bud, bud light, etc because it taste almost like water. However I hate IPA because hoppy taste is bitter and revolting. I'm good with Heineken, Stella, corona, style beers. These are the real beers
Budweiser has my heart.
Coors banquet.
Definitely drank that while watching cobra Kai! 😂
Think about like this McDonald’s sells the most burgers globally but it doesn’t mean they are the best burgers.
American and Chinese companies produce the most so they sell the most.
Lots of smaller Bavarian companies make far superior beer but they don’t produce so much so it will be impossible for them to be a top 5 biggest selling beer.
Imagine how lame it would be if people eating good quality burgers sat around talking shit about fast food while doing so.
If you’re into craft beer, by all means drink and enjoy it. There is no need to talk shit about the macrobrews that most people enjoy.
Talking shit about Budweiser and criticizing their business practices is particularly irksome to me because they pay the highest wages in the industry and make the most consistent beer in the world which is very difficult. You don’t have to like their beer but you have to give them props for making every can taste the same.
The big brewers can make beer taste any way they want. The reason Bud and Bud light taste the way they do is because that’s what sells.
Personally I don’t talk shit about macro breweries. Just highlighting the reason as to why Bud is one of the top sellers. Focus on production and global sales.
If craft brewers in America are annoying I get it - Americans tend to ruin everything
No that’s not why. America has large companies, so does China. That’s why the top 10 beers sold are from American and Chinese companies.
Europe has smaller scale companies that focus on quality - I love Augustiner Brau it’s by far my favourite beer but they don’t mass produce it to the extent of Americans so it will never never be the most sold beer.
There are some exceptions like Heineken and go figure it’s one of the most sold beers. To be the most sold beer you need to produce a lot.
So it comes down to marketing, mass production and business.
I'm not really a craft beer drinker of any kind but even I can tell you Budweiser is in fact piss water. So is Bud Light and Coors Light and Busch
