It's a callous way to put it, but yeah, I think it's time to pack it in in terms of in-ring competition. There are tons of examples of guys WWE missed the boat on and mismanaged, but Joe is one of the exceptions - dude could just not stay healthy long enough to do anything long term.

Agree that this should have opened the show instead of on social media. But can’t say I’m super surprised. He was out of shape and not looking sharp that entire match. Was actually shocked that it was kind of well-received.

Joe has that to be one of the most injury prone wrestlers of all time as good as he is
Luckily he’s great at other things like commentating, promos and teaching
I think it’s best to have Joe as a special attraction guy, who only wrestled in the real rare occasions
