Motivational Monday (Keeping up with change)
Hi Captains,
Keeping up with change in our lives and well for some of you that noticed I was away a little, yea got a new job and had to settle in, now I am back in all aspects.
But when change comes to this glorious game we all play, the changes are constant, meta's are evolving after almost every update now a days. For once I am exited with all the changes and so much more to come with new ship lines, buff and nerfs to many ships, like the Buffguard (great now btw).
But keeping up with how the match plays out I have noticed a lot of people having trouble with and seen flanks or even the mid caps failing completely. I understand that being in a DD and having two Bismarck's rushing you that you will have to get of the cap or try to def strike them (not gonna happen very easily lets be honest). So you have to leave the cap. That is why awareness is key in this game, you have to predict what their movement is going to be and re-position to get into a more favorable position to take them on. Yes even giving up the cap in some occasions. But you have to bounce back if they are pushing this hard, in some cases and you will know this you see the DD yolo rush them and get destroyed while their torps only get one hit or two (not killing them). Yolo is fun and all in the right ship but overall its not a good idea if you cant take the hit without dying. Calculate your engagements and know the potential for getting erased of the map before making such a move.
So in final make sure you keep your awareness 100% while playing not to get caught out with your broadside facing a ship that might be looking your way or dumping all your torps and dying without winning the engagement. Before rushing a BB wait for him to shoot then rush and 90% of the time you will get shot with AP and not HE.
Meanwhile, keep it up guys you got this and never back down or give up. And dont run to the map border if your the last one alive just rush them and take a hero's way out. ;-)
