An important thing to keep in mind when facing Razer

Ok, so I've been seeing this a lot, and it really pisses me off when a teammate does it, so make sure this doesn't happen to you. Razor has an ability called [static link] (http://www.playdota.com/heroes/lightning-revenant#skill319) which people tend to either not know about, or completely ignore.

Basically, Razor attaches to you, and as long as he stays within 675 range and has vision of you, he will drain damage. This means that, at level 4, if he is allowed to continue draining you, you will lose TWO-HUNDRED TWENTY-FOUR BASE DAMAGE, and he will gain that much damage. Even worse, he can gain that much damage even if you don't have that much damage to lose! Way too often I see players that were doing a lot of damage to him stand still and attack him, thinking "Why isn't this noob razer running away omfg I am so going to pwn him!", and then slowly doing less and less damage while he begins to three- or four-shot them. So, unless you are about to kill Razor, or you are about to die (the link breaks if you die), run away. Keep in mind as well that his bonus damage lasts for 18 seconds, so be careful he doesn't have the opportunity to kill you and then go destroy your teammates. You most likely will not be able to outrun him without phase boots because of his [third skill] (http://www.playdota.com/heroes/lightning-revenant#skill320), so instead try to juke him or run out of his vision. Remember, if he can't see you, the link breaks.

TL;DR When a Razor static links you, unless you are about to kill him or you REALLY know what you are doing, run away, at least until the link breaks.
