To build a PC or not?

So my PC that I’ve been using since 2014 has died today. Though I’m not entirely sure what it was, I suspect it was an issue with the PSU as my graphics card is able to light up.

Been thinking about purchasing a new PC but am not too familiar on what is good at the moment. If I could also reuse any parts from my previous machine that would be great as well!

I will be using the PC predominately for 3D renders. However, I would also like to play some games on it also.

I’m willing to invest in something I can use for another 7 years.
