Question regarding Dermanator 2 needle cartridges

❓ Question ❓

Good day,

so I'm about to order the Dermanator 2 because I am sick and tired of dermarollers and dermastamps (which work way better than rolls but f*ck, do they hurt if you have to do it a million times manually, with topical numbing agents it becomes less painful but it takes forever and the force required to get the right depth is just never consistent)

But I have no idea which cartridges to purchase. Is it the 9 or 12 needle cartridge?

Does anybody have experience with this?

Much appreciated.

All hail to the diced to the socks gods.

Use 12 needle cartridges. More holes per punch.

It's supposedly a little more painful, but it's not something to worry about. If you really need to just don't go full depth. Make more shallow punches the first time and see if you are more desensitized to the pain the next time.

I've used single needles for scar tissue, as single needles gives you an option for a little more depth + you can apply pressure to go even deeper.

12 needles is ideal for almost anything else. I don't get why they make 9 needle cartridges, honestly.

is the dermanator worth it? compared to roller stamp? also can I sell it after I stop using it?

It is a night and day difference to manual devices. If you're going to do anything with micro needling you might as well do it right. Most devices on amazon seem like dogshit, too.

If you keep the device in good shape and keep the original parts that come with it (single, 9 needle, 12 needle cartridge etc.) you can probably get a good amount of money for it on the second hand market.

I plan on selling it as well if I don't respond to the protocol within a years time.
