Since "upgrading" from a GTX 980 TI to a RTX 3060 TI my 'Apex Legends' gameplay recordings are a slideshow

IT IS SOLVED - READ THE EDITS BELOW.

I started playing Apex Legends in January of this year and recorded since then some of my gameplay (at 120fps) with my NVIDIA GTX 980 TI using NVENC (my CPU is a i5 6500) which was a bit choppy at times (in game I barley got more than 80fps during fights and thus sometimes the recording skipped a lot of frames but only for a short amount of time).

Sadly my GPU died which is why I bought a NVIDIA RTX 3060 TI which as far as I thought should be better in like everything compared to my previous GPU.

I know that with my (especially CPU specs) streams and recordings are not possible for this game without any frame drops but now my gameplay recordings are compared to before a literal slideshow with like less than 1 frame per second which means they are unuseable for anything (the audio is OK though).

'Frames missed due to rendering/encoding lag' is always red for me with like 98% loss.

Has anybody an idea what the reason behind the sudden drop of the massive amount of frames could be?

What I tried:

- I capped Apex Legends at 170fps

- I checked online for the "best" NVIDIA OBS settings and changed the rate control to CQP (no idea what it was before that) and changed the process priority to high in the OBS settings

What has changed since I use the new GPU:

- GSync should now be working with my monitor but VSync was off anyways

What my "custom" recording settings are:

- Advanced: Process Priority = High, Renderer = Direct 3D 11, Color Format = NV12, Color Space = sRGB

- Video: All resolutions are 1080p which is the resolution of the game and monitor, 120 fps Integer FPS value, Downscale Filter is Lanczos

- Output>Recording: Format = mkv, Encoder = NVIDIA NVENC H.264 (new), Rate Control = CQP, CQ Level = 14, Keyframe Interval = 0, Lookahead and Psycho Visual Tuning are ON, Max-B-Frames = 4, GPU = 0, Preset = Quality, Profile = high

EDIT: When I solved all the problems that the OBS analyze page listed the recording was at least smooth enough to result in a watchable video.

Although many of the problems could have improved the framerate of the recording the number one thing that improved it is SWITCHING FROM 120 FPS to 60 FPS (Common FPS Values). Even with all the other changes if I revert only this setting the video becomes unwatchable again.

It's kinda sad that I have a 240 Hz monitor but can only record with 60 fps but I take it over the slideshow any day.

FINAL EDIT: I can summarize the final solution for my problem with the 60/120 fps. I thought I am smart but I was actually being super dumb.

Thank god u/Hotgigaflop told me I should learn to read more carefully which is why I checked if my video player (mpv) was actually struggeling playing back the 120 fps recording (since on Linux and in the past it was the most smooth and efficent video player). First I laughed because the GPU was only using 1% of it's power to play the file back, then I looked at the CPU which was using 100%... So when I switched playing back the recording with VLC suddenly the recording was super smooth which means fixing the other problems probably fixed whatever was actually wrong in the first place and the last "problem" was just me using a video player that used only the CPU...
