Dang should have scrolled comments before commenting. Nice catch there
Congratulations ๐
You should really mention how long the transfer would take. 5-10 business days to complete is much different than 6 minutes

Do I have to do anything first or can I just call

Damn son. ๐๐ผ

Letโs find out!
Yeah it's really simple too. There's step by step directions on the subs, but it really boils down to this:
Call them, ask for transfer. It's that easy.
Iโm an idiot so bear with me, when you transfer shares to computer share do they then become your broker, or is computer share just a share registration and the shares are still held at fidelity?
Been trying to find the answer in these posts but I can't seem to find it. Anyone smarter than us wanna help us dummies out?
Iโve figured it out since then. They do become your broker and your shares would be tied up during the transfer. This is why many are transferring in batches, to avoid having everything tied up at once.
Have a look at this post https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/ppcq17/processed_all_of_superstonk_posts_covering_past/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Anonymous data is collected to help apes figure out how much approx has been transferred
Damn you should have tiped faster. You missed the opportunity on your battery percentage dude
fidelity knows how to customer service
Other brokers getting overwhelmed meanwhile fidelity just going brr like a busy Thursday
I did it today, only X shares and it took me 52 minutes. This was around 10:00 AM EST. I think the majority of the waiting time was because I specified I wanted specific lots transferred, LIFO
I have a lot of GME in my Roth IRA. Can I transfer my shares without tax implications?

Same experience. So easy and quick. Who'd imagine it would be this easy to fuk the system right back.
You could do that much without a signature?
Fidelity uses voice recognition and other security features.
Yeah but I had seen that it was like $10k, so I only transferred 45. I guess I should have asked.

How does that work through voice recognition? Seems rather unreliable.
They verified me with my account password and a 2FA text.
nah it works, they make you say some stuff so next time u call you can skip EVERYTHING... name, address, social, blah blah... I didnt type anything in and it knew who i was - WIN
When did Fidelity record your voice? Last time I spoke to my bank/broker I was 10 years old.
[deleted]
No. He had to hand it in digitally, via voice, to their fax-recipient.
