Has anyone tried opening multiple instances of ToS to decrease lag when day trading?

I heard from a few post that opening separate instances of ToS (like 1 or 2 for charting and 1 separate for executions) increases the speed and decreases lag. Has anyone tried this?

If so, does it mess up any ordering information? Or will orders still show up on both instances?
