Weird face rash :(
26F 5”2 120lbs Caucasian
Existing medical conditions: Autonomic neuropathy (mostly in remission) Chronic urticaria (mostly cleared up)
No drinking, smoking or drugs
Every few months I get a horrible, itchy rash on my face and neck area. It starts on my temple and jaw and spreads to my whole face and neck. It is very red. I only get it on my face,décolletage and down my back. The last time I got it, I had just started an antibiotic. I stopped it but the rash continued to get worse. Other than the antibiotic, I can’t pin point anything that brings it on. It lasts a few days then clears spontaneously and doesn’t leave any marks.
The only thing to ease it has been 25mg Prednisolone. The last GP I went to, didn’t know what caused it and just told me to stop the antibiotics and take steroids :( it has just started again today on my jaw and temples and I’m desperate for some possible answers.
Edited to add: I normally have very clear skin. I have a solid skin care routine.
