Respondus Questions
Hello,
I wasn’t sure what sub to ask this question in, so I hope this one is appropriate. Like a lot of students, I suffer from extreme test anxiety. I took one today using Respondus. During the part where you take a photo of yourself, I attempted to retake it, but I guess i pressed the wrong button and it took me to the next step instead. I had no way of going back to retake it. I’m pretty sure the photo It took was ok, but my anxiety is convincing me that it might have not been a good photo. I decided to move forward anyways.
Does Respondus notify you (us students) if the photo was bad? If it’s a bad photo, how bad is this for me?
Also, when taking a video of my environment, I decided to remove my monitor from my desk (I used a laptop) and place it on the floor behind me. I then re-recorded my environment this time without the monitor on my desk. From my understanding (from reading online after the fact), the program records the pre-exam as well. This should not raise any flags, should it?
I know I sound super paranoid (because I am), but I don’t want to be accused of cheating or anything else. To make my anxiety worse, I even aced the exam.
