PS5 controller not turning on?

Whats up guys! Ive been having a problem with a PS5 controller recently. It started happening after a random controller update dropped. So whenever the controller is unplugged and I press the power button the controller doesn't respond. The lights doesn't turn on or anything but whenever I plug the controller in the orange light flashes one time then it goes right back to the dead state of no response.
