Random Saving Errors - Illustrator

So I've created an image in illustrator (see attached, pardon the initials), however every time I save it there is a random block of color added to the left hand side (see attached). The triangle shapes are all in Multiply with outer glows and the extra bits are mostly just gradients and some have glows. I'm not sure if those effects could cause this issue, but it might be necessary to know. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or why it is happening? Thanks !
