I need ideas for snacks that incorporate snacks like bhujia sev, sev fine, dal biji, Haldiram's "All In One", Surati snacks, etc. Which ones can I sprinkle on plain yogurt? What soups would tone down the spiciness?
I bought a bunch of foil bags of Haldiram's snacks and plastic bags of Surati snacks. But I need help.
I've seen photos online where it appears that fried or dried sticks made of chickpea flour are sprinkled on top of a soup as a garnish. I visited the Haldiram's website and the Surati website, but I wasn't able to find recipes in English. I suspect some of these snacks are sprinkled onto unsweetened yogurt. Some are sprinkled onto soups and stews. I want to know some vegetarian recipes where I can use them, because so far I've just been eating them with a spoon straight into my mouth, and some of them are so spicy that I have to take a gulp of beverage each time I eat a bit of these dry snacks. I was thinking I could make some non-spicy soups and stews and other dishes and add one of these spicy snacks to it, so I wouldn't have to drink mango juice or oat milk every single time I swallow a handful of the extruded snacks.
I already know about adding fresh diced cucumber, tomato, green bell pepper, and purple onion to bhel puri (if you choose to use the red chili sauce, and I think the green sauce is spicy too, but not as spicy as the red sauce!), so don't bother making suggestions for bhel puri.
Sev fine isn't spicy, so while it doesn't end up hurting or overstimulating my taste buds, it does get boring after a while.
P.S.: What does "vegpotw" and "nonvegpotw" mean? I know that "nonveg" means non-vegetarian.
