Parnate Absorption/effectiveness affected by acid reflux meds?
I got prescribed pantoprazole (it is a proton pump inhibitor PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid your stomach makes.
It's used for heartburn, acid reflux etc
Im having a great response from parnate so far and i don’t want to screw that up.
I read that Pantoprazole can also reduce the absorption of drugs that are dependant on a certain gastric pH for their absorption Anyone that has some knowledge how MAOI‘s are absorbed can shed some light if mixing the two will reduce effectiveness of parnate ?
