Head butting and delatching during feeds

3 month old has been latching himself but keeps head butting my boob and latching, sucking a little and then delatching. I feed him doing the laying down method and he’ll then burrow his face into my arm pits. Is it because my flow is too slow?? Because of this he tends to “snack” and only eat one boob. He then is hungry an hour later. Help!! I miss the days when he would just eat upon latching.

I should mention he usually is hungry at 3 hour mark. Lately he’s been crying at 2 hours and won’t take a binky so I’m assuming it’s hunger. He’ll eat some of one boob then he’ll head butting the other. Maybe he’s not hungry? Is 4 month regression just here early?
