How can I improve my descriptive writing?

I want to improve my grammar especially when it comes to vivid verbs, adjectives, similes and metaphors (the kind usually used when writing descriptive essays) but all i find are narrative stories and mediocre essays.
Are there any websites where I can read descriptive compositions/books or even shows and movies that have advanced and descriptive vocabulary.
Preferably a way I can improve my vocabulary while enjoying but I still don't mind it if it isn't interesting. As long as I can learn new words and phrases smoothly as they are being used without having to cram them individually without context.
