[UK] Why have I gotten three missed calls from three different numbers with the same sort code and first 4 digits as mine?
Today I missed phone call from a number that starts 07X XXXX random four numbers which is the same start as mine. I received another one of these last week, and another one about a month ago.
What are these?

In the USA it's called "neighborhood spoofing". Scammers will fake the first x number of digits of the number that they call to be the first x digits of the caller ID number. They believe the people called will be more likely to answer the call if it appears to be coming from someone local to them.
