Help with PCVR gaming!!

So I finally got my hands on the Quest 2, and I have a decent pc set up I think. I have a Ryzen 3700X, a PNY 3070, and 16GB of 3200 RAM. I tried playing no mans sky vr, and it essentially just stuck with 5-10fps and was entirely unplayable (I get 144fps playing on my 1440p monitor). I have not tried playing any other PCVR games tho I’ve been considering Skyrim, I’ve just been concerned with my specs before I go and buy a different VR game - Long story short, is this on my PC, or a no mans sky issue?
