Good place to eat in Tokyo on the 29th of each month [X-Post from /r/Japan]

On the 29th of each month, a noodle shop in Tokyo named Niku-Ya (Meat Shop) serves 6-times the normal amount of pork with your noodles; which adds up to 6 slices. Once a year, they offer up to 60 slices!

You can easily pretend you're full when you leave the noodles behind :)

I saw this and now I'm planning to take that challenge next year. Eating paleo is hard in this country!

Is there anything sketchy about odeng? If I have to eat on the run, I usually get that. Down in Okinawa you can even get pig's feet in it!

Usually made by grinding up fish with a starch like wheat or tapioca. Always check ingredients in food processed by others

The broth might be made with some sort of crazy manufactured flavor dust. Also, there may be traces of soy (soy sauce, fried tofu) in it.
