Sometimes a Quote is just a Quote (Spoilers Extended)

Recently I posted about The Bowels of Casterly Rock and in that post there are a couple quotes about people/sigils/beasts down there at different times.

I just spent way more time than I care to admit trying to figure out if these quotes mean anything:

he spent the rest of the war in the bowels of Casterly Rock, proving that krakens can piss farther and longer than lions, boars, or chickens. -AFFC, The Prophet

I think its likely he means men serving/from House Lannister, Crakehall and Swyft. Or even potentially Vikary or Herston.

and we see a similar passage about previous occupants of the rock from an animal perspective:

Bears, lions, wolves, and bats have also been known to make their lairs within, along with countless lesser creatures. -TWOIAF, The Westerlands: Casterly Rock

so using that same logic we would have: Mormont, Lannister, Stark, Lothston/Whent.

There are obviously other Houses/Landed Knights with somewhat matching sigils: Grandison (sleeping lion), Reyne (red lion w/forked tail), Jast (3 Lions), Osgrey (Chequy Lion), Parren (extinct house), Cassel (ten white wolves) and Brune (bear paw) all are potential here as well.

So being the summer child/knight full of terror that I am I obviously tried to tie it to other things that occurred in Casterly Rock:

During Jaime's fever dream we get some similar imagery:

"Do they keep a bear down here?" Brienne was moving, slow and wary, sword to hand; step, turn, and listen. Each step made a little splash. "A cave lion? Direwolves? Some bear? Tell me, Jaime. What lives here? What lives in the darkness?"

"Doom." No bear, he knew. No lion. "Only doom." -ASOS, Jaime VI

and then we get appearances by:

• Ned Stark (assumed at first by Jaime) (Wolf)
• Rhaegar Targaryen
• Arthur Dayne
• Jonothor Darry
• Oswell Whent (Bat)
• Lewyn Martell
• Gerold Hightower

Which really doesn't tie much to those quotes.

And then the only time I can think a Mormont would have been near Casterly Rock was for the Tournament at Lannisport to celebrate Robert's victory over the Ironborn (Jorah).

TLDR: Like I said, I looked into this a bit and sometimes its just that and a quote is just a quote.
