WiFi Calling with new Fi app

I just noticed last night that my WiFi Calling on my S21 Ultra must have stopped working after the One UI 4.0 update (android 12 beta) or with the new Fi app that came yesterday. I worked on my router for a bit to ensure all was well and looked at forums which indicated to try disabling VoLTE on sim 1 (didn't work) plus looked for disabling WiFi calling within the Settings app. I could not of course find it and finally did think to look in the Fi app and there it was. My specific problem was audio out to caller from my Galaxy was not working although audio in to the Galaxy was.

So for the time being it appears on this device with Samsung's radio that Goog Fi WiFi calling is not working for me.

I had exactly the same problem on my S21U after the 1UI4 upgrade. I turned off wifi calling and have had no problems since.

Update, after toggling it off and back on again, WiFi calling is now working both ways with Audio, strange. Maybe the toggling it got something reset at Fi...

update 2 nope, after an hour or so, WiFi calling now not working again - going to leave WiFi calling off for now so that audio works in both directions.

I just activated service Wednesday on a Pixel 5a 5g and have had an escalated case open with Google Fi support trying to diagnose this issue as well. I did have Wi-Fi calling working for most of the day yesterday but today it seems to have stopped. Unfortunately, I have no details as to what fixed it on the backend, the service engineer simply said "I made a few changes to your account". To which I cleared the Fi app data, re-activated my eSIM and was able to make a call on Airplane mode.

Off topic, but does Fi supports the new esim update?

Update as of 10/6/2021...I have been staying on WiFi enabled with my S21 Ultra and post UI 4.0 beta 2 update, I have wifi calling working again. Will report if it goes away.
