Pros and cons - Buying deep ITM calls ~.90 DELTA vs buying stocks for leverage.

Lately, I started buying "deep ITM calls ~.90 DELTA instead of buying stocks when there is a huge pull back on the underlying. Do I need to keep anything in mind?

because I am buying deep ITM with negligible extrinsic value, do I need to worry about IV at all?
