Is there a way to tell what difficulty level your game is at while playing?

I can't remember what I chose for my fourth playthrough in VR. It's pretty damn hard but the motion tracker works once in awhile, And there are maps, so I assume I'm not on nightmare but hard. Is there any way to check in game on any screen what difficulty level you are playing at? It is interesting that it doesn't seem to show a place where you can change the difficulty level in game, which some people had said you can do. Just curious. Cheers all
