Cat Vaccine Help!

Hi all,

My cat is due to stay at a Cattery as I am leaving the country (UK) and I foolishly missed his annual booster and his original vaccination has lapsed by 5 months. He is due to receive a new course of vaccinations with the first shot tomorrow morning with the second 3/4 weeks after that. Is it possible for him to receive the second shot 4 days shy of three weeks as we will have already left the country. I will be asking the vet tomorrow just looking for any advice before then.

Thanks

Absolutely. The window for vaccine boosters is 2-4 weeks, so just shy of 3 weeks works just fine. Still check with your vet to make sure that this doesn't conflict with their protocols, though. Everyone does things a bit differently
