Would it be worth it to publish my cheaply recorded song demos to Spotify for my friends?

Question

I recently put up an Instagram account for my original songs and surprisingly, a lot of my friends like them and keep pushing me to put them up on Spotify. They wanna add it to their playlist and all that.

I did some researching and found that the only way you can do it is to pay up to distributors and stuff. I find that pretty off-putting because these are all just demo quality songs with a few overdubs here and there. Some distros make you pay subscription fees for life else they remove your songs (Distrokid?) while others make you pay a rather big face value amount per song to keep them on the platform forever (CDBaby?)... I can't tell which would be more worth it, or if it would be worth it at all...

Don't get me wrong, I do want to put my stuff on a streaming platform that's easy for my friends/audience to access and replay (Bandcamp and Soundcloud ain't really popular in my country. Youtube might be an option but I wouldn't consider that a familiar streaming experience for them). I couldn't care less about earning money from my songs right now. But I would sorta mind if I had to put money into it that I won't see again...

What are y'all's thoughts? Thanks!
